Non-Degree Admission Types
Transient students are college students who wish to take courses at Lander and transfer the credit back to their home institution. Students will need a Coursework Approval Form from their home institution.
Senior Citizens are students over the age of 60, who wish to take, tuition-free, coursework at Lander on a space available basis.
Concurrent students are high school students who wish to take courses at Lander University.
Teacher Recertification is for K - 12 teachers who are seeking certificate renewal in their particular discipline or possibly in another discipline.
Auditing Courses are for students who are interested in taking a course for personal interest.
Note: Non-degree status is not a " trial admission" status or one for candidates who apply too late to submit credentials for consideration for regular admission.
Applicants who have been officially denied admission as a degree-seeking student, are not eligible to apply as a non-degree student.
