Undergraduate Admission Types


Freshman students are degree-seeking students who have not attended a college or university (unless through dual/concurrent enrollment in high school).

 

Transfer students are degree-seeking students who have attended another post-secondary institution after completion of high school regardless of whether or not the student earned credit at that institution.

 

Returning students are former Lander students whose attendance at Lander has been interrupted for any reason for one or more major (fall and/or spring) semesters.

 

International students are students who are not classified as U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.

 

Second Degree students are students with an undergraduate degree who wish to earn a second undergraduate degree in another area.

 

Military students are men and women belonging to the reserve components or active duty personnel who wish to pursue a degree or specific coursework not directed towards a degree.

 

Non-Degree students are students who wish to take coursework at Lander without earning a degree.
