Lander University offers a graduate degree program leading to the Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education. While this program is administered by the College of Education, it involves faculty from across the university.

Master of Education (Elementary)
The student seeking admission to the M.Ed. in elementary education should have:

Application for admission

$35 application fee
-
Transcripts of all college coursework
-
Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
-
Completed a state approved teacher education program
-
Minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale or a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the last two years (or 4 semesters) of baccalaureate program coursework

Three (3) reference forms
- Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score of 800 or Millers Analogies Test (MAT) score of 380
Applicants will also be required to complete an interview with the Director of Graduate Studies.
Note: Students may choose to add a Montessori Emphasis as their related study area.
