Katie F. Engram
Hey yall’, and welcome to My Lander. Looking for a small but friendly university where it’s easy to become involved and make a name for yourself…where you are more than just a number? If you answered yes, then Lander University is the place for you. As part of the admissions staff, I am here to help answer any questions you might have, share the great opportunities Lander University has to offer and help you on your way to be a future Lander Bearcat.
My name is Katie Engram, and I’m originally from Greenwood, South Carolina. I graduated from Lander University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and Theatre with an emphasis in Communications. As a student here at Lander I became very involved in the university by working as a student worker for the Student Activities office, lifeguarding at Lander’s indoor and outdoor pools and helping with live stats in the Athletic Department. Not only did I work on campus I was also a part of many organizations on campus such as Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Presidential Ambassadors, University Program Council, Lander President’s Leadership Program, Council of Presidents, Homecoming Committee, EXPO and Freshmen Orientation Leader and received Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
I strongly encourage you to come and visit Lander University to see firsthand why current students, faculty, staff and alumni are all excited to be a part of Bearcat Country. Lander University nestles in the heart of Greenwood, SC, which is located in the Piedmont of western South Carolina. Lander University is the 2nd smallest public university in the state of South Carolina, which allows students to easily walk anywhere on campus. Lander University has been providing educational and cultural opportunities for many since 1872 and with more than 60 majors and minors to choose from there are many opportunities for students.
Please feel free to contact me at 864.388.8509 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about how Lander University can become “Your Lander.” Have a wonderful day and remember, “it’s great to be a Lander University Bearcat!” I look forward to speaking with you in the future!
