Department of Business Administration
The business administration major has been accredited by the premier business program-accrediting agency (AACSB International) thus verifying the quality of the Lander business program. Business majors choose from four separate emphases -- accounting, finance/economics, health care management, or management/marketing.
Department of Political and Social Sciences
The political science major provides a strong curriculum in American and international policy issues. Students can choose the B.S. in political science or the B.S. in political science with a public administration emphasis. Students interested in attending law school will find an attractive curriculum within the political science major.
The sociology major provides background for a wide variety of careers in human services agencies. Students who choose sociology can choose between a B.S. in sociology or a B.S. in sociology with a criminal justice emphasis.
