Career Preparation

In addition to delivering excellent educational opportunities, Lander is focused on helping students develop the professional skills necessary for successful careers.

Lander Career Services

Our knowledgeable Career Services staff can help with everything from major selection to resumé building, interview skills, and strategies for job search and placement.

EYE Program

EYE stands for Experience Your Education, and that’s exactly what Lander students do, through hands-on application of classroom concepts in real-world settings – from local businesses and industries, to national Fortune 500 companies. Since the program’s implementation in 2009, more than 1,600 Lander students have completed EYE activities. These contextual learning opportunities include internships, clinicals and service-learning projects, all of which can take place on or off campus.

Bearcat JobLink

Employers from a wide selection of industries regularly post career opportunities on Bearcat JobLink, enabling current Lander students and alumni to get a jumpstart on the job search competition. Users can also develop a personal profile with resumes and credentials.
