Undergraduate Education

Our undergraduate curriculum encourages students to explore the arts, humanities, business, sciences and mathematics, allowing them to discover areas that capture the imagination and challenge the mind.

Majors & Degrees

Choose from more than 60 areas of study, including majors, minors and emphases.

EYE Program

Our students don’t just learn in classrooms – they experience their education through hands-on application in real-world settings, from local businesses and industries, to national Fortune 500 companies. The EYE Program provides contextual learning opportunities including internships, clinicals and service-learning projects, all of which can take place at the university or off campus. Since the program’s implementation in 2009, more than 1,600 students have completed EYE activities.

Pre-Professional Programs

Rather than majors, Lander’s pre-professional programs are designed as advising programs that prepare students to go on to postgraduate study. Most students major in one of the science fields offered at Lander, such as biology or chemistry. Others may major in a humanities or political science field, in the case of pre-law, or in physical education and exercise studies, for pre-occupational therapy and pre-physical therapy.
