About 30 teachers from school districts in the Upstate and Midlands regions convened at Lander University on Monday, Feb. 13, for a "mini-economy" program, conducted by Dr. Mona El Shazly of Columbia College, pictured standing left, and Constance Dyson, program director with S.C. Economics, a nonprofit organization designed to promote greater economics and financial literacy among elementary, middle and high school students.
