Lander University business students receive McMullin, Moss and Scales Scholarships

Lander University business students receive Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship
Ansley Ripka, of Lake Wylie, and Caitlynn Packard, of Pendleton, both Lander University business administration majors with accounting emphasis, have received the Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship.
Lander University student receives Barnes scholarship
Lander University political science major Courtney Priester, of Saluda, is the recipient of the Robbie Barnes Political Science Scholarship. Established by the John C. Barnes family in honor of Roberta J. Barnes' 75th birthday, the scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior female student majoring in political science with an emphasis in public administration. Priester is pictured with Chad Kinsella, assistant professor of political science.
Lander University business students receive Park scholarship
Two students in Lander University's College of Business and Public Affairs have received the Charles Park Scholarship. Established in 1992 in honor of Charles A. Park, a Lander business professor emeritus and faculty member from 1960-1991, the scholarship is awarded annually to business and accounting students.
Lander University business students receive Lorenzatti and Williams scholarships
Lander University business administration major Becky Gibson, left, North Augusta, has been selected to receive the Sandra J. Lorenzatti Scholarship. Established in 2011 in memory of Sandra J. Lorenzatti, by her brother Dave Lorenzatti and other members of her family, the scholarship is awarded to a female student majoring in business administration.
Lander University business students receive Dunlap and Eaton scholarships
Lander University business administration major Kimberly Conner, of Greenwood, has been selected to receive the R. Thornwell Dunlap Jr. Scholarship. The scholarship was established in 1997 in honor of Dunlap, who served as president of The Lander Foundation from 1993-1996.
Lander University business students receive scholarships
Lander University student Tim Hocke, of Stahnsdorf, Germany, a business administration major with economic/finance emphasis, has been selected to receive the Chan Sup Chang Business Scholarship. Established in 2006 as a gift to Dr. Chan Sup Chang by his two sons, Dr. Mark Chang and Dr. David Chang, the scholarship is awarded to Lander business majors who have demonstrated leadership qualities.
Daughertys retire after spending eight decades in health care
Bernice and Len Daugherty of Greenwood have each spent more than 40 years in health care, she in nursing and he in health care management, and they shared their professional experiences with students as members of the Lander University faculty. The couple decided to retire this summer and plan to devote their time to more leisurely pursuits.
