About Our Program

The Lander University Cheerleading Team consists of 12-24 members to whose primary function is to promote university spirit by supporting the teams and leading the crowd at basketball games.

In lieu of a scholarship, each member of the team receives nearly $2000 worth of merchandise, training, and travel during the season. In addition, members receive priority class registration.
