Spirit Program

The Lander University Spirit Program is comprised of the Bearcat Cheerleaders, Dance Team, and Mascot.

These groups work together to promote university spirit and provide entertainment at all home basketball games and select campus and community events. The teams also participate in several competitions throughout the season.

Cheerleaders:

• 1st Place at Clash of the Carolinas
• 1st Runner Up at Cheer Ltd College Open Nationals
• 2nd Runner Up at Peach Belt Conference Spirit Competition (highest scoring All-Girl team!)

Dancers:

• 1st Place Cheer Ltd College Open Nationals - 4x Champions!
• 1st Runner Up at Peach Belt Conference Spirit Competition
