Graduate School Resources

Considering Grad School?

Most reports show that if you have an advanced degree, such as a Masters or Doctorate, you can earn more than people with a bachelor's degree. While certain careers definitely require an advanced degree (doctors, lawyers), many other careers offer plenty of job opportunities with just an undergraduate degree.

Practice Testing

Each semester, students are given the opportunity to sign-up to take one of the graduate school admission practice tests facilitated by KAPLAN, a world leader in test preps.  Testing is free.  Pre-registration is required.  Practice tests offered include the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, PCAT., OAT and NCLEX.

Graduate School Fair

During the fall semester, students can meet with representatives from area graduate study programs during the Graduate School Fair.

Preparing for Grad School

The Office of Career Services coordinates a Grad School Fair to give representatives from various universities the opportunity to provide students with information about their graduate programs.

GradSchool.com is a good resource to help you understand the difference between a Masters and a Doctorate degree, why you would need an advanced degree, the time investment and challenges of earning a higher degree.
