Group Exercise

Aerobic classes are offered each semester for students, faculty and staff. Aerobic exercise is a great stress-buster while giving you more energy and a healthier look.

  • Yoga Class - Remove yourself from life's daily pressures and step inside a room of serenity. Campus Rec is rolling out the yoga mats and leading some reflective, meditative movements designed to recharge you! Classes fill-up on a first-come, first-served basis.  
  • Spin Class - A low impact, aerobic exercise on indoor spinning bikes.  As you pedal, the instructor talks you through a cycling workout with varying paces and pedaling speeds.  Classes fill-up on first-come, first-served basis.

  • ZUMBA Fitness Class is an hour of music and easy to follow Latin moves designed to re-energize your body and burn those calories.  This class is free for all Lander University students, faculty and staff.  Just drop by the Class Time that fits your schedule and start working out!  Classes are filled first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Boot Camp X is for those extreme exercise go-getters who want to burn tons of calories!  Click here for Printable Schedule of class times
  • 15-Minute Abs is for those who want to focus on their abdomens!  
  • The Session is a hip hop dance inspired class taught by a very experienced dance instructor.
