South Carolina 2013 Exhibition

Our 2012-13 season begins the 90th Anniversary of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Nine decades of students, teachers, and history. 90 years of creativity.

Since 1923, the Awards have recognized the exceptional vision of our nation’s youth, and we provide a singular opportunity for students to be noticed for their creative talents. Each year, increasing numbers of creative teens submit their work, and they become a part of our community – young artists and writers, filmmakers and photographers, poets, and sculptors, and countless educators who support and encourage the creative process.

• All work will be juried digitally
• Work accepted for the exhibition should be delivered by January 7th.
  • Lander will be closed for the holidays from December 21 – January 1st, and so will not be open for deliveries.
  • If you are delivering your work in person rather than shipping, please contact Eve Walling-Wohlford, (864-388-8235), to ensure that someone will be there to receive your work as the gallery is currently closed.

Important Dates

• December 6th - Deadline for receiving paperwork
• December 8th - Judging
• December 11th - Notification of acceptance
• Dec 12-20 & Jan 2-7 - Delivery of accepted work
• January 7th - Deadline for receiving accepted work
• January 19th - Awards Reception, 2 PM
• February 6th - 7th pick up of all work
