Logging into Blackboard

We strongly encourage faculty and students to log into Blackboard Learn through the MyLander Campus Portal. 

If you need to access Blackboard Learn directly (not through MyLander):

Go to:  http://bb.lander.edu

  •  Your Username is the prefix of your Lander University email address.  (The prefix is the part before @lander.edu.  Make sure you don't add the @lander.edu or you will not be able to log in.)
  • Your Password is your Bearcat PIN number.  If you do not know your PIN number, students should contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.  Faculty and Staff should contact HR for assistance.

Blackboard Mobile Learn
As of September 17, 2012, the Blackboard Mobile Learn app is now available for both Android and iOS users to download for free from their respective app stores.  When users first open the app and search for their institution, they will be prompted to log in via their Blackboard user credentials.  For Lander users, this log in information is the first part of your Lander issued email address and the same six-digit password/PIN used with your L# - not your MyLander password. 

Currently, Lander University does not have an Institutional License of Blackboard Mobile Learn.  Rather, Lander has chosen the Personal License option. 

Android and iOS users will be prompted to purchase access for the introductory price of $1.99* per year or a one-time fee of $5.99* via an in-app purchase.  BlackBerry and webOS users will receive a message stating that they cannot access their Lander’s Blackboard Learn instance via Blackboard Mobile Learn.

Using Blackboard Mobile Learn is optional to faculty and students.
