Lander University will observe 2014 state holidays as follows:

*Since the University will be closed two days for Spring Break, those days, which are not holidays,
must be accounted for by employees. Therefore, employees may choose to take annual leave,
compensatory time, or make-up time for those days.
** Since the University will be closed two days for Fall Break, those days, which are not holidays,
must be accounted for by employees working two of the four Open House Saturdays during
the calendar year.
Compensatory holidays must be taken within one year of the specified holiday.
NOTE: ELECTION DAY is Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The university will be open for employees but closed
to the public. Employees are encouraged to vote. A reasonable amount of time, as agreed upon by the supervisor
is permitted for voting, not to exceed 2 hours.
