Description: Conducts university recruitment and marketing activities by attending transfer fairs, college fairs and related activities designed to promote the University. Counsels prospective students and their families. Coordinates ongoing communication with prospective students and other constituents. Works with transfer students and other special populations as assigned. Assists with all visitation events.
Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Overnight travel and weekend work will be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Higher Education, techniques of individual and group counseling, of basic principles and theories of student development and educational administration; ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public. Ability to identify, develop, and implement programs and activities that will benefit the campus community. Knowledgeable in MS Office, ability to learn the Banner system and any other technical requirements (such as iPads), strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and sense of humor. Must have the ability to lift materials up to 45 pounds.
Hire Range: $25,627 - $36,520
