® Proficiency Profile (formerly MAPP™)
Proficiency Profile is a measure of college-level reading, mathematics, writing, and critical thinking in the context of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The Proficiency Profile is designed for colleges and universities to assess their general education outcomes, so they can improve the quality of instruction and learning.
Lander University administers the Proficiency Profile to all graduating seniors in their capstone courses. The University administered the Proficiency Profile to all incoming freshmen during Orientation between 2006 and 2012.
