ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

Position: Tenure-track, nine-month assistant professor position beginning in August 2015.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Special Education or Curriculum & Instruction with a Special Education mild to moderate emphasis. Candidates should have experience at the university level as well as at least 3 years public school classroom experience (grades Pre-K – 12) and demonstrate potential for scholarly productivity. Prefer strong knowledge base or experience in teaching diverse learners in secondary public school and/or CEC accreditation. Will consider ABD.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate/graduate education courses, advise students, supervise field experiences, engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the University and Greenwood communities.
