Academic Success Center

Our Mission

The mission of the Academic Success Center at Lander University is to provide quality services to students and faculty through a variety of retention efforts.  These efforts include peer tutoring, academic advising for high-risk students, advising seminars for faculty, an intervention program for students on academic probation (SASP), one-on-one mentoring, study skills classes (College Seminar 101), and high school to college transition programs for incoming freshmen.

About Our Services

The Academic Success Center provides academic assistance to students, free tutoring in all courses, offers placement testing, individualized help in study skills, academic advising for probation and general education students and preparation for standardized tests. In addition, the Academic Success Center coordinates the accommodations for students with disabilities in conjunction with the Wellness Center.
