  • Lander Baseball Players Honored with Scholarship in Their Names

    This year, Jay Robinson and Tyler Wilson helped Lander University’s baseball team to the Peach Belt Conference regular season and tournament titles and the NCAA Division II Southeast regional championship. That qualified the team to play in the Division II College World Series in North Carolina in May for the first time in the program’s history. Their amazing stories have prompted an anonymous donor to create a scholarship at Lander in their names.

  • Lander alumni group plans a festive Hawaiian luau

    Lander University’s Cambridge Hall will take on the look and feel of a tropical paradise when the Lander Alumni Association and the Greenwood Tower Club host a Hawaiian luau on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. The event will raise money for the club’s project fund and Lander’s Alumni Scholarship Fund.

  • Lander Announces Tuition Increase for 2014-2015

    Lander University’s Board of Trustees has approved a 3.15 percent increase in tuition for the 2014-2015 academic year beginning in September. The new tuition for in-state students will be $10,418, an increase of $318. For out-of-state students, tuition goes up $602 to $19,738.
