Teale crowned “Miss Lander 2014”

Miss LanderLander University sophomore Justina Claudine Teale, an elementary education/early childhood education major from Gaston, has earned the coveted title of Miss Lander University 2014. She was crowned during a ceremony Feb. 3 in the university’s Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center, after being evaluated on performance in an interview and talent act. Teale is involved with the Lander University Cheerleaders and Zeta Tau Alpha, and she serves as president of the National Panhellenic Council at Lander. She was sponsored in the event by Zeta Tau Alpha. The Miss Lander University competition is presented annually by the National Association for Music Education.
